JOHN BUTLER C.Eng M.R.I.N.A.
John trained as a Naval Architect and in the 1960’s joined Jack Giles at Laurent Giles and Partners to specialise in yacht design. Having 1,274 production boats built to his own designs, he was then responsible for starting the successful sail makers - Butler Verner. A return to yacht design has enabled him to combine his experiences with his present day design parameters to create safe, seaworthy, well-balanced and comfortable cruising yachts.

COLIN SILVESTER
A Naval Architect with many years experience of both power and sail, Colin is an expert on construction in steel, aluminium and wood. In the changing times of design and construction he was with Illingworth & Primrose, who pioneered the use of cold moulding techniques for light displacement racing yachts.
